Workshop Summary…
“Totally Set Free!” From Victim to Survivor to Conqueror - We provide a trailblazing, inspirational and interactive workshop introducing resources and techniques to help survivors who feel “stuck” and hopeless to transform those feelings into believing that healing, hope and happiness are within reach … and they will reach them! Our hands-on activities and conversation starters will uplift, inspire and empower participants to face their fears, embrace healing, recognize their potential, face and resolve conflict, set goals on behalf of their personal happiness and develop a plan to accomplish those goals. Our program also educates the general student body and provides advice for those who are supporters of survivors.
Facilitator’s Commitment to Institutions and Victims of Crimes…
Kelly Sargeant is a survivor of multiple sexual assault crimes, an international award winning motivational speaker, and a certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP). Her mission is to help other victims and concurrently help institutions comply with the federal laws with continuing education programs that promote victim recovery and a culture of compliance. Her passion is to inspire victims to believe in themselves despite the tragedies that they have faced, uplift them to trust that recovery is possible, and empower them with techniques to pursue what makes them happy. Assault victims are a special group to Kelly, so she has designed a program that speaks uniquely to them and their supporters. Kelly wants to help fellow survivors to discover their courage, face their fears and insecurities, know their worth, heal, hope and move forward with their lives on their own terms … to be happy … to be “TOTALLY Set Free!”

Kelly proposes to assist your school by helping the students and with its compliance obligations in accordance with the federal laws in addressing sexual violence and other crimes on its campus. Kelly would like to join forces with you through her community victim assistance program by bringing her inspirational and interactive workshop, “Totally Set Free!” to your campus community!

Audience: Everyone! No exclusions! Students and Faculty!
Length: 2-3 Hours (Depends on client.)
Size: No Minimum. Maximum of 100 participants per workshop.
Space: A lecture hall, classroom, auditorium or dormitory lounge is sufficient.

Overview of our Program…
- We provide an ongoing prevention education, risk reduction and awareness program helping colleges and universities across the country comply with Title IX, the Campus Sexual Violence Elimination (SaVE) Act and Jeanne Clery Act.
- Our program allows you to show the federal government that you are engaging in a proactive effort to meet the necessary components of your school’s Annual Security Report.
- We provide an accessible support service and remedy for empowering sexual assault victims to take the lead in restoring their lives.
- We provide an innovative and progressive response for victims of sexual violence, domestic violence, dating violence, and stalking.
- We are an extended post assault community resource for victims and their supporters.

- Screen (freestanding or fixed)
- Microphone (lavaliere or headset preferred)
- Display table for materials
- Internet Access
- Lectern (optional but preferred)
- Raised platform (optional but preferred)

- Event promotion support and media materials

Honorarium:
- $1,500
- 50% deposit upon execution of agreement, balance due 2 weeks before scheduled workshop.
Workshop Format:
- OPENING TALK by Kelly Sargeant
- BE AWARE - A Sexual Assault Awareness exercise: What is sexual assault? An interactive game identifying what is and what isn't sexual assault.
- BEWARE - A Risk Reduction and Prevention exercise: Participants are divided into teams where they are given conversation starters regarding risk reduction, followed by a team competition to develop a Safety Plan.
- DEFAME THE BLAME – A talk about the anatomy of sexual assault and FAULT, where it lies and embracing the fact that it is not the survivor’s.
- THE PASSION PROJECT – a workshop activity to define one’s top 5 personal passions. WHAT makes YOU happy?
- UNLEASH THE POWER – an inventory exercise defining unique talents and skills, knowing their value and mining them to create confidence from the inside out.
- LIVE ON PURPOSE – a workshop activity that guide’s participants in composing their own, personal STATEMENT OF PURPOSE.
- THE ACCOUNTABILITY CHALLENGE – a workshop activity that guides each participant in plotting out an action plan to manifest their purpose statement.
- LETTER OF INTENT – an exercise of introspect where participants are guided in writing a letter to THEMSELVES … the self they hope to be 6 months later … which Kelly will mail to them at that time.
- CLOSING – an interactive open discussion of take-aways and a final inspirational message from Kelly!
